Lauren spent the early part of her career working in apparel production, where she began to understand the detrimental environmental and social impact of the industry. She was fortunate to transition to a role at Mara Hoffman, a contemporary women’s wear brand focused on increasing the use of sustainable materials and implementing better practices throughout the supply chain. During her 4+ years at the company, she practiced real ways to implement positive changes from fiber to final customer. In 2020, Lauren graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s in Sustainability Management.  After graduating, she spent 1.5 years in ESG consulting, helping Fortune 1000 companies develop and execute sustainability strategies.  Currently, Lauren is the Sustainability Manager at KEEN Footwear.
